2021 East To West Road Trip

We had a good time in Grand River MO. It is a quaint little town centered around an 1880's settlement called Patti's. Land between the lakes is beautiful!  There was a (abandoned? - see photo)  bike/walking path beside the campground. We enjoyed both biking and walking there. the campers we met were friendly and had great advice for newbies. On to Missouri today. Driving some back roads and some interstates. We drove over two BIG, OLD bridges where the Ohio river meets the Mississippi. It was pretty awesome. We are a couple of hours from our destination, enjoying the scenery and looking for a DQ!

Day 1 of the journey! 

 Today we leave for our trip on the first leg of our journey. It is a rainy and cool morning here in East TN and we are super excited to finally be on our way. First stop, Land between the lakes Kentucky.

As we start this journey we hope to explore learn and love along the way. It's exciting to hit the open road on our first big adventure together
