Hoover Dam - Arizona/Nevada

 We made it to Hoover Dam and what an Engineering marvel it is. How they constructed the Dam in the excessive heat is a wonder into it self. It was 114 degrees when we were there and as luck would have it, we were there at noon by travel time. We had to pour water on poor Ellie and carry her the pavement was so incredibly hot!!

Hoover dam is soooo big. Helped me realize how insignificant I am in the overall scheme of things. Amazing site! (Hi Roy)🤗

After a quick stop in Burns, OR we made it to Bend and Sara😍. We stayed at 2 different campgrounds, Bend-Sunriver was closer to Sara so we got to see her a lot. We floated down the Deschutes River (no photos, we couldn't manage a camera on the river), hung out in Drake's Park, climbed Mount Tumalo 😳, ate some great food and still had time to just be together at the campsite.
