Provo Utah

 We stayed two (2) nights in Provo Utah near the state park on Utah lake. It was a park located near the Provo municipal airport on the edge of a beautiful mountain valley town with spectacular views. It had two (2) things we were so much in need of. Grass and SHADE! We rode our bikes on the greenway in a cove of unbelievable Cottonwood trees. The "Cotton" was so heavy that it lined the sides of the greenway like a blanket just inviting your sinuses to inhale and aggravate. Like we needed extra sinus dryness after spending almost two (2) weeks camping in the desert during a heat wave. It was great fun and a good break from some of the heat.

What a lovely surprise after being in the desert for sooooo long! We were right on the Snake River with beautiful sunsets, grass, and fresh breezes, even though it was hot.  and there were beans... miles and miles of beans.

After a quick stop in Burns, OR we made it to Bend and Sara😍. We stayed at 2 different campgrounds, Bend-Sunriver was closer to Sara so we got to see her a lot. We floated down the Deschutes River (no photos, we couldn't manage a camera on the river), hung out in Drake's Park, climbed Mount Tumalo 😳, ate some great food and still had time to just be together at the campsite.
